Mini Lesson 4
Time needed: 25 minutes

 Lesson objective: The learner will list counter arguments for each reason. 

1. Instructor will explain that for every reason there is a counter argument. The instructor will give examples of counter arguments and explain what makes a counter argument effective.

2. The instructor will model and think out loud as they list counter arguments for the 3 reasons  selected in mini lesson 3.

3. The instructor will guide the class as they list counter arguments for the class selected topic from mini lesson 3. The class will discuss if the proposed counter arguments are effective or not.

4. The groups will list counter arguments for each of the reasons they listed in mini lesson 3 and will discuss if their counter arguments are effective according to the class discussion.

5. The groups will present their counter arguments to the instructor. The instructor will ask if the arguments are solid and effective.
